New, Long-Term Fixed Electric Rates Offered for NOPEC Communities

The Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) is a non-profit, pro-consumer lobbying force dedicated to bringing lower utility costs to members across Ohio.

The group has just announced a new Seven-Year Price Stability Program that locks in 6.75 cents per kilowatt-hour through July, 2019. Additional offers include a fixed rate for all-electric residential consumers of 5.35 cents/kWh from October through March of 2014, and a fixed rate of 5.75 cents/kWh for summer months.

NOPEC charges a $75 early cancellation fee.
