The Mentor Senior Center has been designated an Emergency Cooling Center for the City of Mentor. If you are without air-conditioning and need heat relief, the Senior Center is open between 9 AM and 5 PM on Friday, July 23 and Sat., July 24. The Senior Center is located at 8484 Munson Road.
As a cost-savings initiative, the city is moving its local phone service to new carriers. This transfer of service is being done after regular business hours as it requires that inbound and outbound phones will be unavailable for a short time.
