Mentor Senior Center has clubs and performing groups that encourage members to get out and play, sing and dance! These groups offer inspiring and fun entertainment at a very reasonable cost. The fishing club is open to everyone who enjoys fishing. The club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. Monthly speakers along with local fishing outings and charters are scheduled throughout the year. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m., January – November
To accommodate all schedules, there is a morning club and an evening club. Both hike the many metro parks in the area. The morning club hikes every Thursdays at 10 a.m., January – December. The evening club meets on Mondays at 6 p.m., April – October.
The cycling club was formed to promote cycling as an active and healthy lifestyle for all ages. The club cycles at various locations every Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Please call Dave Duricky, Recreation Coordinator at the Mentor Senior Center for a current schedule. Mentor Follies Dancers
Energetic and talented dancers of all abilities enjoy learning new routines and performing for the community in this dynamic club under the direction of Rena Ellwanger. Meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m., January – December.
Mentor Music Makers
This long-standing singing group meets all year long and enjoy performing for seniors and in the community. Director Maria Voljin encourages all seniors interested in joining a singing group to attend. Meets every Wednesday, 10 a.m., January – December
Mentor’s Act 1
Open to thespians of all experience levels, this talented and creative group writes, directs and produces high quality theater productions all year long under the creative direction of Sandy Guenther. Meets the third Wednesday of the month, 12:30 p.m., January – December.
