Safety Town
Each year, the Junior Women’s Club of Mentor sponsors a safety awareness program called Safety Town. Mentor Firefighters along with several assistants, teach young children, ages 4 through 6, how to stay safe at home and away from home.
Safety Town is held at St. Mary’s School, 8540 Mentor Avenue for three sessions during the summer months. Complete information is available at www.juniorwomens.org. You can pick up registration forms from the Mentor Recreation Department, Civic Arena, Mentor Public Libraries and from Kindergarten Roundup at all elementary schools. Register by mail through the end of April.
