Mentor Farmers Market & Final Fridays

The Mentor Farmers Market returns to Civic Center Park on Friday afternoons from 3-7 PM. The season will run from May 30 to September 19. Click here to watch a video preview of the 2014 Mentor Farmers Market.

mentor farmers market logoThe market offers a wide assortment of locally grown fruits and vegetables — and some certified organic — along with flowers, plant starts, herbs, honey, jams and jellies made from wine, home baked breads, olive oil, vinegars, organic cheese, eggs and a bevy of cookies, breads and cupcakes. The market is held rain or shine. There will be NO market on July 4 and August 22.

Musicians Wanted
Organizers are also looking for acoustic performers to provide music during the market from 5-7 PM. This is an opportunity for local musicians to get their music heard, while keeping shoppers entertained. This is a non-paid gig, but tip jars are welcome.

June 13 – Reuben’s Train, bluegrass and folk
June 20 – The Pinckard’s, modern to classic
July 18 – Lillian Mazeika, cellist

August 15 – Matthew Zambotta, cellist
September 19 – Crystal Band
