Mentor Cityfest parade will kick-off Saturday, August 27, from Veteran’s Park and travel south along Hopkins Road to Center Street and pass by the grandstand on Civic Center Blvd. Parade awards take place at the Civic Center Amphitheater at 12 p.m.
Community groups, businesses and local entertainers will delight and entertain those watching along the one-mile route. This is a great way for your organization to be recognized and involved in our community.

* The parade staging area is at Shore Middle School, 5670 Hopkins Rd., Mentor.
* Participants should report to Shore Middle School between 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. City of Mentor busses will be available at the Mentor High School WEST parking lot adjacent to Rt 615 from 7:30 – 9:15 a.m. to transport participants to the staging area. Parents may ride the shuttle to Veteran’s Park with their child, get them checked in with their group, and then return to the High School on the next available bus.
* Older children and adults may be dropped off at Veteran’s Park and then walk to Shore to connect with their group. Please note: There is limited temporary parking at Veteran’s Park. We ask that parents who need to park and connect their young child to a group, please do so quickly to allow parking for others.
*ALL participants must be with their group and lined up by 9:30 a.m.
*All non-parade vehicles must be parked at Mentor High School. No vehicles will be permitted at Shore Middle School unless it is in the parade.
