Creative Artists Association
Creative Artists Association is a not for profit organization established in 1952. It is comprised of artists and those who appreciate art from primarily Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties in Northeast Ohio.
Our purposes are:
1. to promote art education through workshops, speakers, demonstrations and scholarships;
2. to provide artistic fellowship for area artists, creating an avenue for support, encouragement, growth and inspiration;
3. to provide marketing tips and information about upcoming show & exhibit opportunities, gallery openings, art collectors and market trends;
4. to educate our local community about art and to provide opportunities for art collectors and those who appreciate art to connect with our membership.
Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month, except in December and the summer months when we are in recess. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in our organization is welcome to attend.
A newsletter is distributed to members in the week preceding our regularly scheduled meetings. It focuses on the local art scene informing members of meetings and demonstrations, exhibits and opportunities to exhibit in the area, awards and honors received by members, workshops, classes of interest and other items of interest to the membership. Email the organization for additional details. Get a Membership Form here.
