The Garfield Recreation Building is a multi-level facility with several different areas available for rental. The First Floor Lounge is a cozy, barrier free area that can accommodate groups up to 50 people. The Ballroom, located on the second floor, can accommodate up to 150 people. It features a spacious area with hardwood floors. Tables and chairs are provided for both rooms. Rental periods for the Lounge and the Ballroom are five hours in length with an additional one hour of set up.
A $200 security deposit is required to rent this facility. If alcohol will be served, the security deposit is $500 security deposit and a $35 alcohol permit must be purchased. An off-duty Mentor police officer must be also contracted by the renter if alcohol will be served. Payment is made to the officer at the beginning of the rental.
Restrooms for the facility are located on the first floor.
