35+ League
Don’t feel like chasing after the teenagers any more? Join the Adult 35+ League and enjoy yourself. This league is for experienced players who are looking for organized league play. No checking is allowed and all players must be at least 35 years of age (as of December 31). Registration begins in the fall. A player draft is held in late October and league play immediately follows. The season ends in March. Full protective gear is required. An approved ice hockey helmet is mandatory and a face cage is recommended.
Open Hockey
This program is for adult players who want to develop their skills before entering the adult league or are looking for exercise. Players must be at least 18 years of age. Full equipment is required including helmets and full-face cages are recommended. Fees are paid each week before taking the ice. Program runs October – April.
Two Adult Open Hockey Times!
Sundays, 7 – 9 p.m. and/ or Thursdays, 12 – 1 p.m.
Cost is $12 per player per day per week
Summer only pickup time is Wednesdays at 8:45 pm.
18+ League
With growing interest in adult hockey the Mentor Ice Arena is starting to plan an 18+ adult hockey league for the 2010-11 season. No checking is allowed and all players must be at least 18 years at the start of the season. Registration begins in the fall. A player draft is held in late October and league play immediately follows. The season ends in March. Full protective gear is required. An approved ice hockey helmet is mandatory and a face cage is recommended. We are currently gathering information for the development of this league.
