We will head to Lazy G. Alpaca Ranch where we will be greeted by a guide who will share history of Alpacas. Then we head to the Lynwood Kennels where we will have lunch and Jaws with Paws Enforcing Laws Tour. You will get to see how dogs are trained for police work. Then off to the Wilds Wildlife Rehab Center which is one of the few centers in Ohio that is both federally and state licensed. TARA Mansion & Grove City Outlets

Kick off your spring as we travel 2 hours east to TARA, inspired by “Gone with the Wind.” TARA recreates a real sense of embodiment of the Old South, offering a wonderful impression of Southern Hospitality. We’ll have a docent-led tour of the many ante-bellum decorated rooms with their lavish appointments and charm. After the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch at this classic, country inn followed by free time to further explore this delightful venue. Wright Homes

Come with us to the Laurel Highlands and see the award winning Frank Lloyd Wright masterpieces, Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Each home is different, although you will see “Wright-touches” throughout. Excellent docents provide insight into the architect, the owners, and the homes themselves. Fallingwater was designed for the Kaufmann family in 1936. The house is dramatically cantilevered over a mountain waterfall. It is considered the most important example of modern architecture in the world. Kentuck Knob rises from a mountainside high above the Youghiogheny River gorge. This extraordinary home, built of native stone and tidewater cypress, is set amidst natural woodlands and surrounded by contemporary sculpture and historic artifacts. We begin our day with a guided tour with a local guide to tour the Victorian District of Marietta, including the Castle and the Henderson Homes. No matter where our guide takes us you’ll find all roads lead to the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum Rivers. Wine Tour Ohio’s Canal Country

Set your sights on Wine Country as we travel to some unique wineries along Ohio’s Canal Country Wine Trail. We’ll start by visiting the Cuyahoga Valley National Park to taste wine in an 1840 Post-and-beam barn at Sarah’s Winery. We’ll travel to Hartville for tastings and lunch in a 150 year-old restored barn at The Maize Valley Winery. After lunch, we’ll visit the Red Horse Winery of Barberton, with a presentation of their history and enjoy their hilltop location. Lastly, we will travel to the Norton area to enjoy the scenic setting of The Winery at Wolf Creek, overlooking the Barberton Reservoir. America’s Heroes Flight 93

We will pay respects at the Flight 93 Memorial. A floral tribute will be provided for your group. We will then stop at the Firehourse Bakery and Café where you may sample and purchase baked goods. Next we will visit the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel which was dedicated on the first anniversary of 09/11 to honor God and the memory of the 40 heroes of Flight 93. We will then have smorgasbord lunch at the Oakhurst Tea Room. In the afternoon we will visit the Quecreek Mine Rescue Site where on July 28, 2002 9 miners were miraculously rescued. Dickens Victorian Village Tour

Trip Refund Policy
Please choose your trips carefully. Once you have registered for a trip there will be no full refunds unless the Senior Center cancels the trip. An administrative charge of $10 will be assessed on cancellations. Trip refunds will be available until the date specified, minus the $10 administrative fee. Prevent the $10 administrative fee by transferring the full trip amount to another trip/class/program within the same season. Participants assume risk of change in personal circumstances or health. After the cutoff date, there are no refunds unless the reservation can be resold.
