Instructor: Jump Start Sports
Children ages 3 – 6 years old have fun and learn the basics of soccer: dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting, and positioning. Each session consists of instruction in each aspect of the game, participation in fun drills that are designed to teach skills, and low-key, non-competitive simulated games (children are separated by age/skill level for the simulated game portion of the program). Coaches from Jump Start Sports will run the program, but parents are encouraged to assist in the coaching.
Jump Start Fall Baseball
This fall baseball programs offers three levels of play for boys and girls: T-Birds T-Ball for ages 3 & 4, Rookie League Baseball for ages 5 & 6 and Coach Pitch Baseball for ages 7 & 8. Select an age level to read more about each individual program. Parent participation is required.

We’re working with Freeway Lanes of Mentor to provide an opportunity for kids ages 5 – 18 to get in on this sport – Mentor High School’s newest varsity sport! There are four divisions Bumpers (ages 3 – 7), Little Pals (ages 6 – 10), Mixed Palisaders (ages 11 – 14) and High School (age 15 – 19). USBC certified coaches will supervise and provide instruction each week. Bowl with your friends or make some new ones on four person teams.

Learn to Play Pickleball
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America! It’s fun for all ages too – think of badmiton, tennis, racquetball and ping-pong rolled into one, played on a tennis court of smaller proportions. Sign up for this introductory class and learn all of the basics on our new, dedicated courts at Civic Center Park. All equipment is provided.
