MENTOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING CANCELLED
The October 21, 2025, Mentor City Council Regular Meeting has been cancelled at the direction of the President of Council. The next Regular Meeting will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
EXPERIENCE MYSTERIES AT THE MANOR
Celebrate the Halloween season like never before at the Mysteries of the Manor Trail on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Mentor’s historic Wildwood Cultural Center. Hop in a golf cart with your family and cruise through the spooky sights and sounds of the haunted manor trail. Admission is $15 per person (children under 1 are free). YARD WASTE PROGRAM EXPANDS FOR FALL
During the Fall, the amount of yard waste homeowners can put out each week increases from 12 to 25 units from October 27 through December 12, 2025. A unit is one bag, bundle or container of yard waste. Learn more…
UTILITY POLE INSPECTION UNDERWAY
You might notice crews from Davey Resource Group in your neighborhood inspecting utility poles. They’re working on behalf of FirstEnergy to check the structural integrity of our poles as part of a routine 10-year inspection cycle. This proactive work helps keep your electric service safe and reliable! If crews need access to your property, they’ll knock on your door to let you know.

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
The City of Mentor will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 11:11 AM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to honor the men and women who have served our country in the military. The ceremony will be held at the Mentor Municipal Cemetery memorial promenade located at 6881 Hopkins Road. This year’s keynote speaker is Brigadier General Peter Collins, USMC (Ret.). Veteran groups are warmly invited to participate, and the public is strongly encouraged to attend. Learn more.
