In an effort to make a safer Ohio, the Mentor Police Department will be joining other law enforcement agencies, highway safety officials, and safety advocates across the state in support of the 2026 Click It or Ticket traffic safety campaign.
During the May 11 through May 31 campaign local motorists can expect to receive tickets, not warnings, if officers find them out on the road unbuckled. The Mentor Police Department will be out in force during these times both day and night.
Seatbelts help save lives. Tell your friends and family members to take the time to buckle up.
