Marion’s offers a unique Mediterranean cuisine which fuses Italian, French, and Greek cultures. The dining area features a private space for a party of eight as well as warm and romantic décor for guests to enjoy a skillfully crafted meal.
Executive Chef Marion Smith’s 28 years of experience has shaped the menu into what it is today. Even the simplest dish presents its own creative intricacies. Marion makes every dish from scratch and the ingredients are locally sourced. His favorite dishes are the French onion soup and the herb-crusted lamb.
Smith admits that perfecting the menu was probably one of his biggest challenges he’s had to face as he strives for excellence with every meal. All signature dishes on the menu have been fine-tuned and perfected over the years. Chef Marion was previously a chef at the Omni International Hotel, Classics, and Geraci’s Restaurant.
“It’s been a life dream of mine to have a restaurant that bears my name. It’s so exciting and fulfilling. I feel like I’ve been shot to the moon,” says Marion of his journey.
“We have put forth our best to create something different and special for this community. It’s going to be a destination. I really, truly believe that,” says Kelley Brooks, Director of Sales and Catering at Holiday Inn, “There’s been a lot of passion put into it. We have great people in place and it can only grow from here.”
A tapas bar will be opening soon with additional plans for lunch offerings down the road.
