Lake County Engineer Alan L. Exley, PE, PS announced that a short portion of Mill Morr Road in Painesville Township, just east of the Mentor line will be closed weather permitting on Monday, May 11 for approximately 45 days to re-align the existing intersection with Jackson Street. All traffic shall be detoured using Jackson Street, Hopkins Road in the City of Mentor and US Route 20 (Mentor Ave).
Traffic can access residences south of the closure from US 20. During this closure, reconstruction of the pavement will provide better alignment with the intersection. Oversight of the contractor, Phillips Paving, LLC will be by the County Engineer’s Office. The road will re-open once this portion of the road is complete.
