The City of Mentor Recreation Department operates three family-friends outdoor swimming pools, each featuring designated lap lanes, baby pool, tether ball, water basketball, and more. Each can be rented for special occasions.

All three pools have an extensive Red Cross Learn to Swim program for ages 18 months through adult. Lifeguard training, water exercise scuba training and special events are just a few of the special programs offered each summer.

Mentor Recreation operates two free water spray parks for family enjoyment. Each of our aquatic facilities has its own unique features and offer something for the whole family.

Seasonal aquatics passes provide a great value and entitle pass holders to unlimited use of our facilities during regular hours of operation. Pass sales begin the first Monday in April at the Recreation Department office.

The Recreation Department also offers an extensive Learn-to-Swim program with hundreds of lessons times, levels and locations available.
