Mentor’s favorite festival is back with a new name, a new date, and a brand new feel. Mentor CityFest – the largest community event brought to you by the City of Mentor – will be held August 23 & 24 on the grounds of Civic Center Park, Friday, 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. and Saturday, 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. It’s Two Days – One Big Event!
In celebration of Mentor’s 50th anniversary, we’ve saved the best from previous festivals, like a parade and festival food, live music and local exhibitors, and we’ve added local food, and many new, exciting attractions and activities for everyone.
We’ll welcome the Cincinnati Circus Company with its flying trapeze show, stilt walkers, acrobats, flame throwers and amazing performers.
We’re hosting a huge concert Saturday night with our featured musical group BritBeat, a Beatles cover band, with fireworks as the finale! And don’t miss our big Friday musical act, Disco Inferno, a local favorite sure to get the crowd dancing!
Join us and you’ll have a chance to swing through the air on a flying trapeze and help us pick a winner in our high school Battle of the Bands! See innovative displays from Mentor’s largest manufacturers in our Business Expo tent, ride a trackless train through Civic Center Park, grab your friends for a game of indoor laser tag, climb a 20’ rock wall, stop by the arcade tent, and try out more than a dozen reasonably priced community-run games, and a big assortment of giant inflatables.
The entire grounds of Civic Center Park will be filled with something for everyone.
