Mentor Civic Arena, the only indoor ice skating complex in Lake County, is the coolest spot in town! With two regulation-size ice rinks, a studio rink, locker rooms and a snack bar, the Civic Arena is open year round and provides something for everyone who enjoys the sport of skating.

Adults 18 & up can participate.  Full gear is required including helmet with sheild or cage.

 Basic Skills & Hockey Summer Day Camp
Monday – Friday,  8 am – 5 pm

This program offers a day camp atmosphere, crafts, swimming and activities with a focus on figure skating and hockey.  Day campers will be asked to bring a bagged lunch.  Counselors will supervise campers during all activities throughout the day.  See special flyer for more details and registration form. Both camps are available for weekly or daily rates.

Luncheon skates are a great way to get in a little exercise and have some fun during the lunch hour. Luncheon Skates are held September through April. The cost is only $4. This special rate does NOT apply on Mentor School holidays or other school closings. On those days, regular admission fees apply.

Small Folk Open Skate
Children eight and under (and a parent) can skate on the Studio Rink with children their own size during the Small Folk Open Skate. It’s a great time for younger children to practice skating skills or simply skate at their own pace! Small Folk Open Skate is held Saturday and Sunday, 1:30 – 3 PM, October through April.  (except March 16-17)

The After School Skate and Bus program runs September 9 to May 8

 Mentor Civic Arena reserves the right to change times if necessary. For safety reasons, attendance during Open Skates may need to be limited. All skaters age 8 and under must wear a safety helmet (or bicycle helmet) in order to skate.
