WalletHub Releases Best Small Cities Survey – Mentor Tops in Northeast Ohio

WalletHub recently ranked the Best Small Cities in America and the City of Mentor placed in the top 10% – slightly ahead of Boca Raton, FL, Mountain View, CA, and Fredericksburg, VA.

The survey compared 1,268 cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 and took 30 key indicators of livability into account. They range from “housing costs” to “school-system quality” to “number of restaurants per capita”.

The city with the top overall rank was Westfield, IN.

Mentor ranked fourth overall among 54 Ohio cities behind the Columbus suburbs of Dublin, Mason, and Westerville.

Mentor scored 66th overall in affordability which placed it in the top 5% in the United States.
