HELP MENTOR FIRE RESCUE THE NEEDY
The 2025 Mentor Fire Rescue the Needy Food Drive will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, near the northeast entrance of the Great Lakes Mall by Barnes and Noble. Cash and non-perishable food donations will be accepted. 100% of proceeds will directly benefit the Salvation Army Painesville Corps which serves Lake County. Donations stay in the community in which they are received to help serve those most in need. Since 1994, over $175,000 in cash and food donations have been raised.
FINAL WEEK OF YARD WASTE PICKUP
December 8 – 12 is the FINAL WEEK for yard waste pickup this year. Residents who receive curbside service can place up to 25 units at the curb on trash day. A unit is one bag, bundle or container of yard waste. Learn more.
