The city of Mentor seeks to expand its present ADA accessible kayak launch at the Mentor Lagoons Marina.  The proposed plan would extend the dock by 150′ and increase the launch capabilities from one to four simultaneous users to meet a goal set forth in Mentor’s 2011 Master Plan of promoting natural water body related activities such as kayaking.

The cost of the project is estimated to be $68,000 of which $50,000 or 73% will be reimbursed through a NatureWorks grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

The public is invited to review the plan and offer comment to Kevin Grippi, Grant Supervisor, at [email protected] by July 27, 2026.
