The Marines return to Mentor on June 19, 2013!

Members of the U.S. Marine Corps return to the Jerome T. Osborne Sr. Stadium on Wednesday, June 19th for a 90-minute exhibition of music, marches and precision drills. This free event celebrates the patriotism, pomp and tradition that represents the U.S.Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, the Silent Drill Platoon and the Marine Corps Color Guard from Marine Barracks 8th & I, Washington, D.C.
The music begins at 7:30 p.m. Seating is on a first come basis.
In the afternoon, beginning at 1 p.m., the 3rd Battalion 25th Marines from Brook Park, Ohio will provide a display of military field equipment, combat gear, weapons and vehicles. Others in attendance include the Blue Star Mothers, Marine Corps League, Marine Corps Poolees, Young Marines, USO of Northern Ohio, and Recruiting Station from Cleveland and Mentor.
