Affected residents on Forest Road & Woodridge Lane were mailed the following letter regarding the upcoming resurfacing project on their streets.
The City of Mentor is advising your street will be resurfaced as part of the Forest Road/Woodridge Lane Resurfacing project. Milling/removal of portions of the existing asphalt pavement will be commencing on or about September 6th. Limited curb replacement will occur with new asphalt paving to follow shortly thereafter. No driveway apron work will occur as part of this project. All work is scheduled for completion by mid-November.
Traffic will be maintained at all times; however, reasonable delays can be expected. Please obey all signage and traffic patterns during these operations. If curb replacement work occurs in front of your driveway, you will be notified by the contractor in advance and overnight on-street parking for the affected residents will be permitted.
The work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM Monday through Friday. The City would also ask that you avoid on-street parking during milling and paving operations on your street.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this construction period. The City of Mentor and our contractors will do everything possible to minimize the inconvenience caused by this type of construction.
