The Be a Santa to a Senior giving tree is up in the Mentor Municipal Center lobby and loaded with tags representing senior citizens in need right here in Lake County.
This year, we are happy to announce that the gift tags are back to being more personalized and include requests for simple things like bath towels, dust pans, toiletries, stamps, and clothing. In addition, each senior will receive a letter, handwritten by a local honor society student, a handmade card, and a phone call.
Please choose a tag, or tags, and purchase the gift listed. When you are finished shopping, please return the gift to the box located next to the tree no later than December 9th, 2022.
Due to Covid safety concerns, there will not be a volunteer wrapping party. However, those taking a tag may wrap their gifts prior to dropping them off at the Municipal Center as long as they tape the tag to the package or bag.
The Mentor Municipal Center is located at 8500 Civic Center Boulevard, Mentor OH 44060 and is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
