The Mentor Police Department works hard to make sure elementary school children walk safely to and from school. Currently the department employs three school crossing guards with this responsibility. The guards are posted at the following elementary schools: Fairfax Elementary, Orchard Hollow Elementary, Sterling Morton Elementary, and St. Mary’s School.
