The project consists of the complete reconstruction of Lake Overlook Drive from Forest Road to Corduroy Road. The project will tentatively begin the week of April 12, 2021 (weather permitting). JTO, Inc. will perform construction work on Lake Overlook Drive through the 2021 construction season with an expected fall 2021 completion. Storm sewer work will begin and will continue throughout the spring.  Unlike Belle Meadow, Orchard and Marigold, no sanitary sewer work will be performed with this project which should aid in an earlier project completion.  Roadways within the work area will be limited to local traffic only with complete road closure at the point where daily storm sewer construction occurs.  Upon completion of the storm sewer work, the roadway will be reconstructed.  During this work, traffic will be limited with single point roadway closures.  During paving operations, access to the street will be restricted.  An additional letter detailing street and drive access during paving operations will be provided closer to the time of that work.  For any special access needs please contact JTO, Inc. at the number listed below for coordination.

Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM Monday through Friday.

If you have questions during normal working hours, please do not hesitate to call Allen Pennington (City of Mentor) at (440) 974-5786, Eric Haibach (CT Consultants) at (440) 530-2387 (office) or JTO, Inc. at (440) 352-1900. For after hour concerns please contact Leong Tan of JTO, Inc. (contractor) at (440) 221-9879.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience during construction. The City of Mentor, our consultants and our contractors will do everything possible to minimize the inconvenience caused by this construction.

Please use caution when driving through the construction zone.
