The City of Mentor welcomes Perkatory to the Matchworks Building on Station Street.
Perkatory is a steampunk-themed coffee shop brewing up an assortment of coffees from Caruso’s Coffee Roasters, teas, hot chocolate and more soon to come.
Natalie Catania-Nelson, and her father, Bill Catania, manage and own this artistic coffee shop which opened on December 6th with support from the local businesses in the Matchworks building.
Perkatory interconnects with Stella’s Art Gallery, and local artists’ work adorns the coffee shop. There are work surfaces available inside the shop for artists to enjoy a cup of coffee while working and a charging station will be provided as well.
Fourk Restaurant, adjacent to Perkatory, even plans to use Perkatory’s cold brew to create a “Perkatini” drink.
“Everyone works together in this building—we recommend our customers to each other, we help each other out, and we’re practically all family,” says Nelson, who is also an artist at Stella’s Art Gallery.
