NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

City of Mentor Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year (PY) 2023 Action Plan

The City of Mentor is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Annual Action Plan to govern the use of the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. These funds must primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons. Per HUD regulation and the City of Mentor’s Citizen Participation Plan, two public hearings will be held by the City of Mentor.

The first public meeting will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., Mentor City Hall, 3rd Floor Council Chambers, 8500 Civic Center Boulevard.  The facility is ADA compliant and additional accommodations can be made upon request.

During this development stage of the Annual Action Plan, the components of the Plan will be discussed, and public comments will be solicited, including ideas regarding the community’s needs, resources, and priorities. PY 2023 Grant applications will also be available at this time.
