Plaza Blvd will be closed at the Norfolk-Southern rail crossing for the next 2 days for rail replacement.
Hopkins Road, Patterson Drive, Station Street, Hart Street, and Plaza Blvd are all CLOSED. Please use SR-306, SR-615, and Heisley Road overpasses.

Hopkins Road has been reopened at the NS rail crossing through the holiday weekend. Work will resume on Tuesday.

As anticipated, Hopkins Road is closed at the Norfolk Southern RR Crossing for rail replacement. Patterson Drive is expected to close later this afternoon, with Station Street to follow. Please seek alternate route.

Company representatives advise that the Hopkins Road, Patterson Drive, and Station Street crossings will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, May 24, 2023. The exact time is unknown. Please seek alternate route.
Norfolk Southern has advised the city of Mentor that the company will be performing track replacement in our area next week. Work will include reconstruction of rail crossings with approximately 2-day closures on each affected crossing.
Hopkins Road is expected to be impacted either Tuesday or Wednesday with work on the remaining Mentor crossings proceeding from east to west. Maple St. will be skipped due to the proximity of adjacent crossings, work will occur at that crossing at a later date.
