The unemployment rate for the City of Mentor remained at 2.7% for the month of November 2019.  One year ago, the unemployment rate was 3.7%.  In Lake County, the unemployment rate increased to 2.9% from 2.8% for the month of November.

The City of Mentor’s unemployment rate is the lowest at 2.7% among cities in Ohio with a population of 50,000 or more. Lakewood and Mentor have the lowest unemployment rates at 2.7%. The City’s civilian labor force increased by 100 to 26,700.

The State of Ohio’s unemployment rate decreased 0.1% to 3.8% for the month of November.
