AquaWater.com has announced plans to replace more than 2,400 linear feet of water main in the Mentor area this spring at the following locations.
Burridge Avenue from Mentor Avenue to Windsor Lane-will replace 1,255 linear feet of main and increase the diameter of the pipe from six-inch to eight-inch. The number of hydrants will be increased from three to four.
Southwood Road from Mentor Avenue to Rosebud Drive–will replace 1,200 linear feet of six-inch water main and increase the number of fire hydrants from three to four.
Work is expected to begin in April and be complete in August. Work will be conducted Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm. At least one lane of traffic will be available at all times, but on street parking will be limited. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area.
