122nd Army Band Rewinds the 80s in Mentor

It’s going to be totally tubular as the Ohio National Guard’s 122nd Army Band returns to the Mentor Civic Amphitheater for a free performance on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM.

This year’s theme is 80s Rewind so put down the Gameboy, put on your sweatbands, grab your Walkman, and let’s meet at the roller rink! You bring the big hair and a fanny pack full of quarters for the arcade, and they’ll bring the mixtape of the music that defined the 80s.

Since 1944, the Ohio National Guard’s 122nd Army Band has been a staple of the musical tradition of the United States military in Ohio. Members of the band hail from every corner of Ohio (plus a few from other states) to strengthen troop morale and build a positive connection between the public and the Ohio National Guard.

Free admission and parking. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Food and beverage sales will not be available at this event. Coolers are welcome. No outside alcohol, glass containers, or pets permitted on Amphitheater grounds.
