The City of Mentor is offering an outstanding opportunity to hear some of Northeast Ohio’s finest musicians as you’ve never experienced them before. The brand-new Fall For The Classics concert series features members of the Cleveland Orchestra and other world-class musicians performing an engaging range of classical music and more.
The series begins with the Gruca-White ensemble in an intimate setting at Wildwood Cultural Center on Wednesday, September 21st. This classical guitar / flute duo is known for their unique programming and is the ensemble-in-residence of Cleveland’s Music Settlement.
Shachar Israel of the Cleveland Orchestra and Meghan Guegold of both the Akron and Canton Symphony Orchestras will perform the best of brass along with accompanying pianist Joseph Hollings on Tuesday, October 4th at the Mentor Senior Center.
The formidable Impreza Trio of pianist Eric Charnofsky, violinist Emily Cornelius and cellist Lauren Dunseath return to the quaint confines of Wildwood Cultural Center on Tuesday, October 11th.
Finally, Cleveland Orchestra violinist Katherine Bormann and renowned accompanist Christina Dahl conclude the series in style at the Mentor Senior Center on Tuesday, November 1st with a selection of works from classic to contemporary masters.
