The kids are back to school and summer is winding down here in Northeast Ohio…but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for one last bash!

Mentor CityFest takes place August 24th and 25th at Mentor Civic Center Park and promises great family fun!

The annual event attracts over 20,000 people from across the area and features all-day entertainment including live music, magic, and strolling entertainment as well as interactive activities for kids of all ages including giant inflatables, a rock-climbing wall, zipline, extreme trampoline, Ninja Warrior Challenge, Soccer Darts, mobile Escape Rooms, and more.

20 food vendors will be onsite serving up fair-favorites and over 60 groups will be exhibiting in the Main Street Tent.

Nearly 100 community groups will be taking part in the CityFest parade which steps of from Shore Middle School at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Thousands of spectators will line Center Street for the 1.5-mile parade route as the marchers make their way to Mentor Civic Center Park led by long-time WKYC personality, Hollie Strano.

And, the most colorful event of the summer will take place at 6:00 PM on Saturday with the Mentor CityFest Color Dash & Walk which features 7 color stations.

Evening entertainment on the Amphitheater Main Stage features That 80’s Band on Friday at 7:30, and Sudden Change on Saturday at 7:30.

Admission and parking to Mentor CityFest is free. Food and beverages, as well as activities wristbands are available for sale. Wristbands are $10.00 for all-you-can-jump on Friday and Saturday. Escape Rooms are $2.00 per person. Registration for the Color Dash can be done through Greater Cleveland XC.

Mentor CityFest hours are Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM
