The 2019 Ohio Celtic Festival will be held on September 20th – 22nd at Mentor Civic Center Park.

This annual event features a wide array of musicians and entertainers from around the world. This year’s musical lineup includes Celtic rock music by The Screaming Orphans, Padraig Stevens with Leo Moran of the Saw Doctors, Off Kilter, The American Rogues, and Mary’s Lane. Those who enjoy the more traditional sounds of Irish music have not been overlooked. Back by popular demand are Keegan from Celtic Thunder, Donál Clancy & Rory Makem, and the Narrowbacks. New this year are The Byrne Brothers and Gaelic Brew. Along with national and international acts, the Northeast Ohio Irish music scene will be well-represented with The New Barleycorn, Brigid Cross, No Strangers Here, The Mad Macs, and Andrew McManus, along with popular entertainment by championship pipe bands and Irish dancers.

A host of vendors with a tempting array of foods as well as Celtic merchants selling hand-crafted jewelry, pottery and embroidered fashions will be on hand.

Advance tickets sales are available for their popular whiskey tastings, sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey and Caskmate. The tasting workshops will highlight whiskey crafting history and processes. Seating is limited, with any remaining tickets to be sold at the event.

Children can enjoy inflatables, activities, magic shows and more.

Festival Hours are Friday 5 – 11:30 PM, Saturday 12 – 11:30 PM, and Sunday 12 – 8 PM. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Sunday.
