We wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone that deposits for the 2022 Boating Season are due by February 14, 2022. If a deposit has not been made by that date, your dock space will be made available to those on the waiting list.

Final payment on your dock is due April 15, 2022. Please let the Marina office know if you will be storing a trailer on the property so it may be charged accordingly. It is imperative that a trailer storage sticker is prominently displayed on your trailer this summer.

We ask your assistance in keeping the Marina family friendly, as well as clean and safe. Please dispose of all trash properly. As you know, the wind can be strong at the Marina and much of the garbage left behind can end up on other properties, in the water, or in the Nature Preserve. Dumpsters have been provided at the B-Gate exit to make it handy to dispose of trash on your way out. The A-Dock dumpster is located in the Yacht Club parking lot.

Please make sure firepits are completely extinguished before leaving your dock unattended for any amount of time. During a dry summer,  this can be a very bad accident waiting to happen.

Each year, the City of Mentor receives a number of reports related accidents on golf carts. We ask that golf carts are driven safely and responsibly. At no time, is anyone without a driver’s license permitted to operate a golf cart on Marina property. Actions resulting in the above with result in the dock owner losing golf cart privileges from the date of the incident through the remainder of the season.  As per the dock rental agreement, all golf carts (including street legal golf carts) on Marina property are required to be labeled with the owner’s dock number. After May 31, 2022, if a golf cart is not labeled, it must be removed from the property.

We understand that schedules can be hectic over the summer and sometimes it can be difficult to regularly visit your dock property to properly maintain the grass. If this is the case, please bring this to our attention so that we may assist you. We want you and your neighbors to enjoy your Marina experience.

Finally, we remind all dockers that quiet hours extend from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM.  Thank you for respecting the peaceful enjoyment of our facilities.
