The City of Mentor’s Hometown Heroes Banner Program returns in 2024 to honor current or former Mentor residents who have served our country in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard. All banners for 2024 are sold out.
Banners will be displayed for one season between Memorial Day through Veterans Day 2024 on light posts along Civic Center Boulevard and on Munson Road between Center Street and Market Street.
All banners will be available for pick up after November 15, 2024. Contact the Public Information Office at (440) 974-5794 or pubinfo@cityofmentor.com with any questions or to be added to the notification list for 2025.
