In response to the growing need in our community, the city of Mentor has designated a drop off point for the disposal of food waste. Residents with spoiled food can drop it off at the designated containers located in the bottom / rear parking lot (near the ballfields) at Garfield Park, 7967 Mentor Ave. Please ensure that all food waste is property bagged and placed inside of the container. These containers are for food waste only.  The containers will be available until Friday, August 16, 2024.
