Mentor City Council Meeting
Mentor City Council will meet on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers. This meeting will be preceded by a council work session on the topic of Civic Center Park projects.

Hometown Heroes Banner Program
The City of Mentor’s Hometown Heroes Banner Program returns in 2025 to honor current or former Mentor residents who have served in our country’s armed forces. Banners will be displayed for one season between Memorial Day through Veterans Day. Download the application form for additional information or to register.
Christmas Tree Dropoff Sites
After Christmas, recycle your live tree at a Mentor Park. Drop-off locations include:
- Edward R. Walsh Park – 7221 Bellflower Road
- Eleanor B. Garfield Park – 7967 Mentor Avenue
- Donald E. Krueger Park – 7556 Chillicothe Road
- Morton Park – 9325 Rosemary Lane
Please remove all decorations and plastic bags. Drop-off locations will be open through January 31, 2025.
Volunteer at the Senior Center
The Mentor Senior Center offers an array of programs and activities across a wide range of interests for those 55+ in our community and we can use some help to deliver a quality experience for our members.
