MENTOR RESPONDING TO CYBER EVENT
The city of Mentor has recently experienced a cyberattack. As a precaution, our hosted servers were taken offline to protect data. YARD WASTE LIMIT INCREASE
During the Fall, the amount of yard waste homeowners can put out each week increases from 12 to 25 units from October 27 through December 12, 2025. A unit is one bag, bundle or container of yard waste. Learn more.

HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT
Trick or treat will be held on October 31, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the City of Mentor. As always, the Mentor Police Department has extra officers on patrol Halloween night so have fun, stay safe, and have a Happy Halloween.

MENTOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Mentor City Council will meet on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM in council chambers located on the third floor of the Mentor Municipal Center. Mentor City Council meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on the Mentor Channel, Spectrum 1024, U-Verse 99, and on our App available for ROKU, Apple, Android, and Amazon Fire. Meetings are rebroadcast numerous times throughout the following week.

The Municipal Planning Commission will meet on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 7:00 PM in council chambers located on the third floor of the Mentor Municipal Center. VETERANS DAY
The City of Mentor will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 11:11 AM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to honor the men and women who have served our country in the military. The ceremony will be held at the Mentor Municipal Cemetery memorial promenade located at 6881 Hopkins Road. This year’s keynote speaker is Brigadier General Peter Collins, USMC (Ret.). Learn more.
