Aerospace leaders will be in Northeast Ohio to discuss changes and recent updates in the industry as well as showcase opportunities for businesses in Greater Cleveland at a symposium hosted by the City of Mentor International Trade Initiative.

The event will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 from  8:00 a.m. to 2:30 pm at the Noah’s Event Venue, 8200 Norton Parkway in Mentor, Ohio.

Representatives from the Ohio Aerospace Institute, NASA, Boeing, Parker-Hannifin and others will be on hand to educate area businesses on available programs as well as help build valuable connections.  The conference will feature a number of presentations from thought leaders as well as the opportunity to schedule face-to-face meetings with giants in the aerospace industry.

“Business owners will have a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from Boeing on how to become part of their supply chain as well as learn how to comply with new and changing ITAR regulations, says Kimberly Holizna, International Trade Program Manager for the City of Mentor.

“If your company sells directly to the aircraft manufacturers or is a tier supplier, this program is for you,” she adds.

Aerospace Updates & Opportunities is the fifth in a series of symposiums presented by the City of Mentor International Trade Initiative whose mission it is to assist companies who seek to expand or develop new export markets. Learn more at www.mentorglobal.trade.
