Shakespeare wrote “All the world’s a stage,” so it only makes sense that we learn to act. Wildwood Cultural Center is offering a new class Acting for Kids.

The six-week class starts Wednesday January 29th and is tailored for children ages 8 through 12. Students will explore the world of theater through creative dramatics, while building their self-confidence. At the end of the session, kids will present a staged production for family and friends.

Local actor and director Caroline Considine will teach the new class. With experience directing Junior Straw Hat Theater in Gates Mills and acting with the Willoughby Fine Arts youth acting club, she is looking forward to passing her knowledge on to young thespians.

Register for the class by calling (440) 974-5735 or online at cityofmentor.com. Cost is just $45 for residents or $52 for nonresidents. An additional six-week class will be offered beginning March 11th.
