Co-owned by Anthony Del Monti and Barry Sneed, this family-owned business is all about comfort and a little sweet treat for everyone.
Del Monti’s business journey began at an Arizona farmer’s market in 2014 and moved to Mentor in 2019. Originally, they began selling their treats at local farmer’s markets and in the mall for holiday seasons and then took the plunge with their own stand-alone business which officially opened inside the Great Lakes Mall in April 2023.
While their main focus is homemade pizzelles, their menu branches from local bakery breads and cakes to gelato imported from Arizona with a mother company located in Italy. Other items include pizzolis, specialty coffee drinks, affogatos, shakes, Italian sodas, floats, chocolates and much more. Del Monti’s even has gluten free options and paw-zelles – pizzelles made for dogs!
“You can’t beat our prices, our coffees, everything, our prices are really good, and we try and keep it that way. I’m not trying to make a million bucks; I enjoy what I’m doing here.”
Comfortability and connection building is a key desire for all of their customers. The café is purposely set up in a quiet location in order to be a place for people to sit, relax and enjoy one another’s company.
