Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve Shoreline Master Plan Survey

The City of Mentor is currently working on a Master Plan related to the nearly 1.5 miles of shoreline along Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve. The existing shoreline is currently eroding at a rate of 4′ to 8′ per year and unsafe for visitors. As we proceed with a plan to protect and restore the shoreline, we also want to examine what type of amenities, facilities and access opportunities the shoreline should have in the future.

We need your assistance in better understanding what you want the future of this shoreline to look like moving forward and ask the public to take 3-5 minutes to take a short survey.  The survey window is open through January 2, 2024.

This survey will help the City determine the best course of action to improve this important community asset.
