Residents are advised that the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) office located at the Mentor Municipal Center remains closed at this time. Locally, in-person taxpayer assistance is only available at RITA’s Brecksville office located at 10107 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, OH 44141. Walk-in hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
A secure drop-box remains available in the Mentor Municipal Center lobby for those who prefer to personally submit their returns or tax documents. Click here for instructions on how to use this option. The drop-box is accessible Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Taxpayers with questions can contact RITA’s Customer Service Department Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5 PM at (800) 860-7482. Taxpayers may also use this number to access RITA’s 24-hour automated phone system to make payments, check the status of a refund request, or estimated payments that have been made.
