When Alyssia Daley got married, she had a hard time finding her perfect dress. As a plus-size bride, she recognized a need and set out to help other brides plan their perfect day. A. Daley has been serving brides in Greater Cleveland for over a year and recently relocated to the Great Lakes Mall.
The shop offers custom wedding dresses for any bride. They also feature a line designed in-house by Alyssia as well as brands like Jasmine Bridal and Wtoo by Watters Bridal. In addition to wedding dresses, they also carry wedding and home décor items such as pre-made signs, custom signs, and custom gifts for her.
When asked why she chose Mentor, she confided that the Great Lakes Mall was her first choice.
“I spend quite a bit of time in Mentor. I felt like I wanted to move to a thriving, vibrant, city that matched the spirit of my store,” said Daley, “It was such a blessing that everything fell into place the way it did.”
The experience has been positive thus far. “It’s been so great. Everyone is so welcoming and excited,” she adds. “It’s infectious.”
Brides can help brighten someone else’s day as well. A portion of all design profits supports a charitable program called A. Daley Gives. This year’s fund will purchase Christmas gifts for foster kids in group homes.
“As a former foster child who never got gifts when I was in group homes, it’s a cause that is near and dear to me,” says Daley.
