Burgerim, means “many burgers” in Hebrew, and it’s a quite a fitting name.  Mentor’s newest eatery offers a wide variety of options for the casual diner.

Franchise owner, Maulik Gajjar, grew up in Mentor and is involved in a number of businesses in the area. When asked why he chose to bring Burgerim to town, he immediately exclaimed, “Oh, it’s the taste, as well as the variety.”

Their signature 3oz burger is sized somewhat larger than a slider and smaller than a standard burger. The idea is to allow the diner to mix and match different patties which include beef, turkey, salmon, and veggie, as well as other fresh toppings.

“It’s really a unique type of concept. We offer eleven different types of patties, three different types of buns, we make our own sauces,” he says, “You can try two different burgers for the almost the same price as a burger and fries.”

The location also features a full-bar for those who like to responsibly enjoy an adult beverage with their burger.

“So far, the reception has been great,” he adds, “People love the food.”

The Mentor location has been for about three weeks ago and he is optimistic for the future with plans for additional locations through our area.

When asked why he chose Mentor, he says, “I grew up around here, it’s a great city. I love my city and wanted to start here. This is a franchise and we’re going to expand but I wanted to start in Mentor.”

Burgerim is located at 7597 Mentor Avenue. Visit www.burgerim.com for menu, hours and additional information.

The City of Mentor thanks Mr. Gajjar and Burgerim for their investment in our community.
