Hobby Lobby’s 55,000 SF Mentor location officially opened on September 2nd with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Oklahoma City based chain offers a wide variety of arts and crafts supplies. The Mentor store joins more than 850 Hobby Lobby stores across the nation.
In an interview with the News-Herald, Mentor Economic Development Director Kevin Malecek said that the new store is a welcome addition to Mentor.
“The new Hobby Lobby is yet another example of the health and vibrancy of Mentor’s retail market,” Malecek said. “It’s a tremendous piece of news to have another nationally known retailer, of Hobby Lobby’s stature, entering our retail community.”
Hobby Lobby is located at the Great Lakes Mall next to Atlas Cinemas (7852 Mentor Avenue). Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM. They are closed Sundays. For more information, visit hobbylobby.com.
