The City of Mentor welcomes Mentor Salt Cave to the Colonial Plaza on Mentor Avenue.
Mentor Salt Cave offers various salt retail, ionic foot baths, and Himalayan Salt Cave sessions that all aim to draw out toxins and provide a therapeutic way for customers to sit back and relax.
Owner, Amy Wojciechowski, opened the business in July of 2017 and could not be happier with how well-received the idea has been in the Mentor community. Her inspiration came from her college roommate who currently owns three stores in Tennessee.
The salt cave itself is made of over 12,000 pounds of Himalayan salt. Customers have already journeyed from Lorain, New Philadelphia, and even as far as Canada to check out this unique Mentor store.
“People who are hesitant should just try it—they will be pleasantly surprised with how good they feel afterward,” Wojciechowski says.
