Multi-platinum recording artists, the Gin Blossoms, will rock the Mentor Civic Amphitheater for a special performance on Sunday, July 28th.The Tempe-based group rose to prominence in 1992 with their breakthrough album “New Miserable Experience”.  Some of their hits include “Hey Jealousy”, “Found Out About You”, and “Follow You Down”. They’ve been lauded by critics and fans over the past three decades for their introspective lyrics and catchy sound. Their latest release, Mixed Reality, was released in 2018.

Local favorite, Diana Chittester, will be opening with her full band. Chittester has built a reputation as one of the area’s most gifted guitar players, intimate songwriters, and forceful vocalists. Her album, Paradox (2018), was named the 2019 Best Local Album by Cleveland Scene Magazine.

Gates open at 4:00 PM. The Diana Chittester Band will take the stage at 5:30 PM with the Gin Blossoms to follow at 7:00 PM.

Admission and parking to the event are free. All ages. The venue has lawn seating so bring a blanket a lawn chair. A selection of beer and sparkling beverages will be available for purchase as well as food from 10 popular food trucks. Outside food and beverages are permitted with the exception of alcohol. No pets on Amphitheater grounds.
